Fondation Kangourou Cameroun: Digital Showcase to Save Lives

The Challenge

In October 2021, the Fondation Kangourou Cameroun (FK-C) launched a strategic tender for its digital ecosystem. Requirements: a responsive and attractive website presenting the organization’s vision and values, serving as a documentary resource hub (guides, reports, multimedia). The site needed strong SEO for funding partner advocacy and an intuitive administration interface for autonomous management. A collaborative workspace was also required.

The Mission of the Fondation Kangourou Cameroun

A non-governmental organization in the health sector, FK-C works across all Cameroonian regions for neonatal health, focusing on the comprehensive care of premature newborns and those with low birth weight through the Kangaroo Mother Care Method (KMC). Constant visibility is required to mobilize national and international partners.

The Solution Proposed by OZO Soft

We implemented a custom content management tool allowing the Foundation’s multidisciplinary team to easily publish activities and projects. Aware that FK-C operates in the field, we designed the system so the entire team can produce and share content (articles, photos, reports) from anywhere in Cameroon.

The Foundation also requested a dedicated donations page to allow FK-C to solicit public support and financially assist families with premature baby medical care.

The Result

Challenge successfully met! Site delivered with comprehensive Foundation staff training for content publishing and first-level maintenance. Today, FK-C has a powerful tool to spread best practices and extend its impact.
